This design was created with interconnectedness of nature in mind. My intent in the piece is for people to pause when they see it and take in all the little details, to feel as if they are walking in a natural space where time slows down and allows you to really look. Even with the use of simple folk-inspired shapes, my piece has complexity to it. I hope it exhibits joy and calm all at once. “Slow Down” is a playful reminder to pause and enjoy the little things.

• WASH COLD on gentle cycle with natural detergent
