C&C products are made in-house in our production studio/lab in Northport, Michigan. Our lab is located right next to our gardens, where we grow many of the ingredients used in our formulations. This close connection to the land allows us to craft fresh, high-quality botanical remedies with a deep respect for nature and sustainability.

For ingredients we don’t grow ourselves, we source from trusted farms and suppliers that uphold sustainable and ethical practices. Our packaging is also chosen with sustainability in mind, incorporating recyclable, reusable, and compostable materials to reduce waste.

To get the most out of your C&C products, we recommend incorporating them into a simple, consistent skincare ritual. Here are some tips for optimal results:
Cleanse: Start with Fresh Start oil cleanser to remove dirt and impurities without stripping your skin. Follow with a water-based cleanser.
Tone & Hydrate: Use a hydrosol to balance your skin’s pH and prepare it for the next steps. This helps to hydrate and set the stage for the following products.
Serums: Apply targeted treatments (like oils or serums) to address specific concerns such as hydration, acne, or anti-aging. Massage gently into the skin to enhance absorption.
Water-based serums should be applied first, followed by oil-based serums for maximum effectiveness.
Balms: Seal in the goodness with a nourishing facial balm, like Leland Blue tallow balm, or one that suits your skin type, to lock in moisture and nourishment.
Weekly Treatments: Treat yourself to a weekly Venusian Rose facial mask to rejuvenate and deeply nourish your skin.
Consistency is key! For the best results, use your products regularly and adjust your routine as your skin changes with the seasons or your needs evolve.
If you’re new to herbal skincare, start with a patch test to ensure compatibility with your skin.
For personalized guidance or a tailored regimen, feel free to reach out to us! We’re happy to help.

The shelf life of our products can vary depending on the ingredients. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend using our products within a year of purchase for ultimate potency. While our violet glass packaging helps extend shelf life by protecting from light, natural ingredients are most effective when fresh.
Oil-based products: Typically last 12 months.
Water-based products: Last around 9-12 months.
Tallow-based products: Can last 9-12 months.
Masks and exfoliants: Typically last 12-16 months.
For optimal results, store your products in a cool, dry place, and always check for any changes in color, texture, or smell.
